I will forever remember Michael as one of the very early investors and Directors of my company, Imparta. We met via connections at LBS and his kindness, enthusiasm and support was evident from the first day. He understood what it is to create a business, and to ride the ups and downs that that inevitably entails. I got to know Michael as well as one might in a professional setting, through his many years of service as a Director of the business, and through his passionate work on Business Bridge, for which we proudly provided some of the training content.

He was a truly wonderful man.

His funeral service was incredibly touching and moving - as disembodied as it was for most of us. I felt that it paid worthy tribute to him as a husband, father, entrepreneur and academic. All our lives have been enriched by Michael's, and Emma and I send all our love to his family, friends and colleagues.
